xij + 192 pp. Preliminary materials includes a dedication from Fabert, a letter of M. Le Veillard to M. Prinet, and an avertissement. Handsome small tail piece at xij and nice head piece on page 1. Title page does not include the author's name, but we believe it to be Jean-Joseph Fabert who was a doctor and water inspector in Luxeuil in Franche-Comte. A very scarce look at the mineral waters at Luxeuil. The book has been rebound in cream linen, very simple yet handsome. Title on spine, small stain to back cover. End papers renewed. Any preliminary leaves before the title and after page 192 were not bound in. Paper trimmed at top edge. Title page has old ownership signature which was trimmed in rebinding, very small bit of foxing, light damp stain pages 46-47, else clean and nice. Nice copy of this hard to find volume.; 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall
