Blindstamped dark blue grey cloth with gilt to the front cover and spine. covers are generally faded and worn. Cover gilt is bright, spine gilt is gone, spine sunned. Interior very foxed, the illustrated plate is missing with a ghost of the image still appearing at the half-title. Some dampstaining and signatures showing but still holding and still quite readable.
