What a steam engineering student needed to know in 1943. Book has an owner's inscription and address, but is also signed by most of the Board of Trustees of NAPE, and the National Officers of NAPE 1942-43, as well as many attendees of a conference in Buffalo, new York that took place on Sept 3 1943. Many of the signatures list either their place of residence or the Chapter # of NAPE that they belong to. Officers and Trustees who have signed include Thomas R. Herlihy, William W. Downey, Thomas J. Gambute, Albert F. Thompson, Clyde A. Bland, Fred W. Raven, Harry J. Harp, and Stephen C. Casteel.
