No publishing info. 74-94 pp with interspersed blanks. Pebbled green leather with William Stirlings stamp, bit of gold ruling on the spine. Includes proverbs in English with their Latin and Greek translations. According to the Catalogue des livres...de M. Duplessis, 1856, this is a fragment of a small elementary Greek grammar printed in England at the beginning of the 18th century. It has collector William Stirling's bookplate, along with that of Victor de Guinzbourg and Keir House (all collectors of proverbs, etc.), along with a handwritten note referencing the Duplessis connection -- the handwriting appears to be that of William Stirling. Extremely scarce. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall
