288, 273-288, 305-310 pp. Errors in pagination. Last blank missing, most of first blank gone. A small octavo about 5" tall. Original leather boards are scuffed and worn, leather spine cover quite perished. Interior has early bookplate of Victor de Guinzbourg while he was a Lt. Colonel. First blank mostly gone, with many notations of schoolboy ownership including "David Denoon Book 1782". Title page has a number of schoolboy names and is quite browned at the edge with the bottom corner chipped off. First half of the book is 2 columns, Latin word with Greek definition, 2nd half reverses. Browned throughout, corners darkened and chipped, upper corner of last left chipped off with some lost to 3 lines of text. Another student name *William Monroe" at bottom of last leaf, endpapers gone. A somewhat battered copy but still holding together, an example that survived numerous school boys, with a nice provenance. Corresponds to OCLC 79185485. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 310 pages
