[16], 246, [2] pp. A small octavo in possibly contemporary calf boards, rebacked with sheep. Text is within borders with commentary in ruled margins. Corners rubbed, a dent to the back board, edges a bit abraded, old library stickers on the covers. Interior end papers quite browned, library sticker. Occasional marginalia, on page 93 a reader has made a small correction to the text, K quire is more browned than the rest, page 167/8 the margin is torn away not affecting text. Very scarce indeed. ESTC R7342, shows only 4 copies in No. America, 5 copies in British Isles. Little is known of the author, who styled himself "an unworthy Minister of the Gospell," except that he wrote this and another book "Zions Sufferings" (published 1653) . ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 246 pages
